Dr. Asheesh Bothra

Dr. Bothra is a board-certified internist, and vein specialist with extensive clinical and leadership experience. A graduate of S P Medical College in India, he completed his residency at West Penn Allegheny Health System, Pittsburgh, and earned an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Over the years, he has held several influential roles, including Medical Director of Cerner EHR at UPMC, Vice President of a multispecialty group of 85 providers, and chair of Utilization Management for three hospitals at Kettering Health. Additionally, he has served as Co-Medical Director of an LTAC and Clinical Assistant Professor at both Wright State University and the University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Bothra’s dedication to patient care and medical excellence has earned him numerous awards, such as the Best Teacher Award, leadership recognition from a large multispecialty group, and the Young Achiever Award from his local chamber of commerce. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians. Currently, he serves as Vice President of the Montgomery County Medical Society and on the alumni board of the Kelley School of Business.

With a focus on enhancing patients’ well-being, Dr. Bothra specializes in minimally invasive treatments for venous disease, including Radiofrequency Ablation, Varithena, and Sclerotherapy. Drawing on his internal medicine expertise, he ensures that venous issues are treated with a thorough understanding of systemic factors affecting them. His goal is to provide safe, effective care that improves both venous health and quality of life.
